Assistant Property Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Property Manager to support our Property Manager in overseeing a diverse portfolio of multifamily properties in the vibrant city of San Francisco. This role is an excellent opportunity for professional growth, serving as a stepping stone to a Property Manager.
You will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of our properties, with duties ranging from move-ins and move-outs to vendor management to tenant relations, and building inspections. Success in this role requires excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A car is required, as you will drive to properties throughout San Francisco to respond to maintenance requests, conduct inspections, and address urgent matters.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong tenant relations by responding promptly and thoroughly to all requests, inquiries, and correspondence.
- Handle tenant move-ins and move-outs and oversee unit turnovers.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
- Keep organized, up-to-date records of leases, maintenance requests, and tenant communications.
- Stay current on industry best practices through continuing education, seminars, and local professional activities.
- Embrace Kaizen (continuous improvement) by seeking ways to improve processes, tenant experience, and operations.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of San Francisco property management experience.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and MS Office.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge of California and local housing laws.
