Assistant Property Manager

Reports to: Property Manager 

Location: Lakeland, FL

Units: 320

Salary: $24.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Housing Benefit: 50% rent discount for onsite living

 

Summary:

The Village at Lake Highland Apartments is hiring an experienced Assistant Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our 320-unit residential apartment community located in Lakeland, FL.

The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge in residential property management. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare market surveys
  • Outreach marketing and updating online ads
  • All leasing functions including evictions and move ins
  • Various reporting responsibilities
  • Processing security deposit refunds
  • Accounts receivable duties including collection & processing of rent income
  • Send former tenants past due accounts for collection
  • Resident event planning
  • Upkeep with the property's social media accounts

 

Skills:

  • Property management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
  • MRI experience preferred
  • Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Comply with all state and federal fair housing trainings
