Description

The Evans Company is looking for a candidate to blow us away with enthusiasm to assist commercial tenants in all aspects of property management, strong attention to detail, and a drive to begin a long-term career with tons of growth opportunities. 


This position reports to: Director of Commercial Real Estate Operations

Schedule: Full-time. M-F, 40 hours/week. 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm

Salary Range:  $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience

  

Responsibilities:

1. TENANT LEASE ADMINISTRATION including ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ADMINISTRATION

2. PROPERTY OPERATIONS and EXPENSE ADMINISTRATION / ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

3. GENERAL ACCOUNTING / REPORTING

4. MARKETING

5. OTHER – SPECIAL PROJECTS


Qualifications:


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • College coursework/Bachelors degree in business/accounting/ useful or preferred
  • Real Estate Broker’s License preferred but not required

EXPERIENCE 

  • Customer-facing work experience
  • Financial and accounting acumen or similar experience in budget preparation and financial reporting preferred
  • Commercial real estate or property management experience a huge plus
  • Familiarity with building systems, lease negotiations, documentation, and administration helpful
  • Experience with accruals as well as CAM estimates and reconciliations useful

  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and explain financial statements and calculate variances
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, prorations, percentages, and volumes as these concepts relate to rent, parking fees, and late fees 
TECHNOLOGY
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Capable of learning new programs and technology
