Description
The Evans Company is looking for a candidate to blow us away with enthusiasm to assist commercial tenants in all aspects of property management, strong attention to detail, and a drive to begin a long-term career with tons of growth opportunities.
This position reports to: Director of Commercial Real Estate Operations
Schedule: Full-time. M-F, 40 hours/week. 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
1. TENANT LEASE ADMINISTRATION including ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ADMINISTRATION
2. PROPERTY OPERATIONS and EXPENSE ADMINISTRATION / ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
3. GENERAL ACCOUNTING / REPORTING
4. MARKETING
5. OTHER – SPECIAL PROJECTS
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma/GED required
- College coursework/Bachelors degree in business/accounting/ useful or preferred
- Real Estate Broker’s License preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE
- Customer-facing work experience
- Financial and accounting acumen or similar experience in budget preparation and financial reporting preferred
- Commercial real estate or property management experience a huge plus
- Familiarity with building systems, lease negotiations, documentation, and administration helpful
- Experience with accruals as well as CAM estimates and reconciliations useful

- Ability to analyze, interpret, and explain financial statements and calculate variances
- Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, prorations, percentages, and volumes as these concepts relate to rent, parking fees, and late fees
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Capable of learning new programs and technology
