Key responsibilities:
• Support the community manager with day-to-day property operations
• Assist with leasing, renewals, resident retention, and occupancy goals
• Manage delinquency, collections, payment plans, and resident account follow-up
• Review resident ledgers and ensure account balances are accurate
• Assist with monthly reporting, financial tracking, and variance review
• Support invoice processing, purchase orders, and expense management
• Respond to resident concerns and help resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with lease administration, move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and renewals
• Monitor leasing traffic, availability, pricing, and exposure
• Support the onsite team and help maintain accountability and strong customer service standards
• Assist with property inspections, curb appeal, and overall community standards
• Maintain accurate resident files, documentation, and system records
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements and company policies
• Step in to support the community manager and onsite team as operational needs arise
Qualifications:
• Previous multifamily property management experience required
• Previous assistant community manager or assistant property manager experience strongly preferred
• Strong experience with collections, delinquency, and resident account management
• RealPage experience required
• CRM experience preferred
• Strong understanding of leasing, renewals, resident relations, and property operations
• Comfortable reviewing reports, ledgers, and property financial information
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and solutions-oriented
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and applicable multifamily regulations
