What You'll Do
Lead Your Team
- Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing leasing and maintenance team.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and recognize team members for success.
- Lead by example with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
Drive Performance
- Own the financial success of your community by achieving occupancy, revenue, and expense goals.
- Analyze property performance and implement strategies that maximize NOI.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reporting.
- Monitor effective rent trade-out, leasing performance, and resident retention.
Create Exceptional Resident Experiences
- Deliver outstanding customer service that exceeds resident expectations.
- Build lasting relationships with residents and quickly resolve concerns.
- Create a welcoming community through resident events and engagement initiatives.
- Ensure every move-in, renewal, and move-out is a five-star experience.
- Ensure the community is beautiful, safe, and well-maintained every day.
- Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep work orders and apartment turns on schedule.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain the highest curb appeal standards.
- Coordinate vendors, capital projects, and preventive maintenance programs.
Grow Your Community
- Lead leasing and marketing initiatives that increase occupancy and revenue.
- Analyze market trends and recommend competitive pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with Regional Leadership to achieve portfolio goals.
- Champion innovation and continuously seek ways to improve operations.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of multifamily property management experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Previous leadership experience managing onsite teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord-tenant regulations.
- Experience with RealPage or similar property management software.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- A passion for customer service and team development.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation.
- Experience managing communities of 200+ apartment homes.
- Experience with capital improvement projects and value-add renovations.
