Full-Time Branch Maintenance Director

- This position will split time between the Meyers Lake YMCA and the Eric Snow Family YMCA

 

Salary:

$44,000+ commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

  • Provides overall coordination of facility maintenance, including planning and developing preventative maintenance.
  • Ensures the proper operation of all mechanical systems, pool equipment and water, heating and cooling systems, filtration systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, exercise equipment, and other related building systems.
  • Completes repair work and projects in a timely manner. Oversees all contractors that work in the facility and grounds. May request and review bids and recommend selection of contractors.
  • Provide overall supervision and coordination of housekeeping services
  • Develops system to accurately record and track equipment warranties, age of equipment, replacement parts and repairs.
  • Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available as needed. Maintain inventory for heavy wear items.
  • Works with outside agencies such as fire, health, building depts., etc. to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities and grounds.
  • Develops budgets supporting the preventative and annual maintenance plans and monitors expenditures against budget.
  • Recruits, hires, trains, develops, schedules, and directs assigned staff and volunteers. Reviews and evaluates performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.
  • Participates with other members of management in the YMCAs fundraising campaign.
  • Advises management on maintenance issues and projects as requested.
  • Be a part of leadership team to assess annual plan of capital projects, consistent with the YMCAs strategic plan.
