Description

GSF Properties Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Community Manager to join our dynamic property management team in Fresno, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead operations at a multi-family community while contributing to the continued growth and success of the community. 


In this role, the Community Manager is responsible for the full oversight of day-to-day operations for a multi-family property, ensuring the asset is maintained to the highest standards while achieving operational and financial objectives. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in market-rate housing, team development, and property performance.


This is a full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position offers an annual salary of $70,304.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong community connections through effective leasing practices, exceptional customer service, and ongoing team training and development
  • Maintain outstanding curb appeal while ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the property, amenities, and local market conditions
  • Lead the leasing process by implementing strategic sales techniques, setting performance expectations, and ensuring consistent follow-through
  • Partner closely with the Maintenance team to deliver high-quality living standards through preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and an efficient make-ready process
  • Manage and adhere to operating budgets, including planning for capital improvements, repairs, and vendor partnerships
  • Collaborate with team members to proactively identify challenges and implement effective, timely solutions
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and executing opportunities such as competitive pricing strategies and value-add community enhancements
  • Work in partnership with the Portfolio Manager to support overall property performance and strategic objectives

Requirements

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of multi-family market-rate experience required
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (winter hours) and 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (summer hours)
  • Proven experience in property management, including leasing, operations, and financial performance
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to coach, train, and motivate staff
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and drive property performance
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management best practices
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance teams, vendors, and leadership, including the Portfolio Manager
