Location: 11819 Eucalyptus Ave, Hawthorne, CA 90250
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Bonus Perk: Discounted onsite apartment

  • 1 Bed / 1 Bath for $658 employee rent (market rent: $1,995)
    Schedule: Part-Time | Approximately 10-14 hours per week

About the Opportunity


Beach Front Property Management is looking for a driven and customer-focused Property Manager to help oversee day-to-day operations of a residential community in Hawthorne. This is a great opportunity for an experienced assistant or property manager seeking flexible hours, hands-on responsibility, and the rare benefit of substantially discounted onsite housing.

In this role, you’ll serve as the main point of contact for residents, vendors, and internal partners while ensuring the property runs smoothly, remains compliant, and delivers a high-quality living experience.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly property operations
  • Support the Regional Property Supervisor with overall performance and compliance
  • Market the property, lease vacant units, and maintain strong occupancy
  • Ensure units are pre-leased and vacancies are filled within 30 days
  • Maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws and all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Process rent, invoices, and financial transactions in Yardi Voyager
  • Monitor rent rolls and delinquency reports daily
  • Prepare and serve required notices, including 3-day notices
  • Professionally address resident concerns and enforce lease terms
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure make-ready units are completed within 3–5 business days
  • Coordinate and follow up on maintenance work orders
  • Submit required reports (including monthly market surveys)
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and assist with on-call or emergency needs as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements


What We’re Looking For

  • Property management experience (Assistant Manager or Manager level)
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord/tenant basics
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Clear and professional written communication skills
  • Basic technology proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams)
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager (preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
