The Assistant Property Manager assists the Property Manager in overseeing all operational functions. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have a general understanding of general business practices, and demonstrate a high regard for ethical standards. This is accomplished by ensuring positive tenant relations, maintaining occupancy levels; the property is in good physical condition, and developing a marketing campaign to ensure the future success of the community.
- Assists manager is scheduling and coordinating the duties of on-site staff
- Address tenant concerns and needs in a timely manner
- Assists manager in performing regular property inspections
- Follow proper tenant intake procedures
- Ensure money management guidelines are followed
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

Requirements
- One year of property management experience preferred
- Proficiency with YARDI property management software preferred
- Certification in property management (e.g., Certified Property Manager, Certified Apartment Manager) is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office Package
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent bending stooping and reaching in all directions
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers entering data using a keyboard
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Walking for extended periods of time checking units
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
