Job DetailsJob Location: PUEBLO, CO 81008Salary Range: $58,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary/yearThe primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. The Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring the facility is maintained in a safe, efficient, and comfortable manner for residents, staff, and visitors, and performs duties as directed by the Executive Director.    Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Direct and oversee all maintenance, repair, and plant operations activities throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, OSHA, life-safety, and healthcare facility regulations. Maintain and monitor building systems including boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Schedule and supervise preventive maintenance programs and facility inspections. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and ensure corrective actions are completed efficiently. Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate work assignments, training, and performance expectations. Maintain inventory and proper use of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms and common areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment operation. Coordinate repair projects, renovations, and equipment installations, including working with outside vendors and contractors. Interpret blueprints, building plans, and technical manuals as needed for facility projects. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, inspections, and compliance documentation. Promote a safe environment for residents, visitors, and employees by identifying and correcting potential hazards. Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in maintenance, plant operations, or a related field. Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, boilers, compressors, and generators. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of building codes, life safety regulations, OSHA standards, and healthcare compliance requirements. Strong leadership, communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
