About the Role

Overview
Fred Anderson Toyota of Charleston is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities management, with expertise in HVAC systems, building maintenance, and project management. Typical working days are Monday through Friday with on call as needed.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operations of facility maintenance, ensuring all systems function optimally.
  • Assists with onsite repairs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors, key employees, and management within locations.
  • Have continued focus and communication with housekeeping staff to ensure service levels are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement or repair.
  • Assist in special event setup and activities.
  • Maintain documentation for all facility systems, ensuring accurate records are kept.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Self-starter who can manage their daily tasks and time efficiently.
  • Other duties assigned by management.

Experience

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field is essential.
  • Ability for basic building repairs is required.
  • Prior communication with high-level management and executives.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management processes and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to complete tasks and take the initiative on your own with minimal supervision.
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record is required.
