Storey Lake Club, located in Kissimmee, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Facility Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs repairs and maintenance, and ensures cleanliness of the entire facility
  • Manages contracts and contracted services that pertain to the maintenance of the facility and grounds
  • Oversees the operation of mechanical and power equipment utilized in the maintenance of the facility
  • Coordinates exterior property cleaning and maintenance in accordance with company standards
  • Implements policies and procedures for the Building Maintenance and Facilities Department, including compliance with all company standards relating to quality of products and services
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Monitors business volume forecasts and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs, and other expenses
  • Manages department members that may include, but are not limited to: Assistant Maintenance Technicians, cleaners, laundry facilities, and housepersons
  • Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate; develops ongoing training programs for the department
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
  • Communicates any changes or new policies and procedures to the department
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance
  • Conducts staff meetings with subordinates
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree preference in diesel mechanics, auto mechanics, or small engines.
  • Valid driver's license and other applicable mechanical and equipment licenses (Boiler, HVAC, etc.)
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; equipment manuals may be in English)
Working Conditions:
  • Frequently uses hands
  • Regularly stands, walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, and crawls
  • Frequently lifts, moves, and carries up to 50 pounds; may push or pull up to 100 pounds
  • Normally works near moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, fumes, and/or airborne particles
  • Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
  • Noise level is moderate
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays required
