What You’ll Do

  • Lead and work alongside a Maintenance Assistant on indoor and outdoor facility maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Manage two office locations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and property improvements.
  • Perform general maintenance including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, basic plumbing, lighting repairs, equipment installation, and office improvements.
  • Manage a fleet of more than 100 company vehicles.
  • Coordinate vehicle purchases, maintenance, inspections, registrations, insurance, and fuel cards.
  • Monitor fleet safety using GPS and vehicle camera systems.
  • Review weekly driver inspections and fleet safety events.
  • Coach employees on safe driving practices and document coaching conversations.
  • Purchase and install company equipment for office, laboratory, and field operations.
  • Coordinate contractors only when specialized or licensed work is required.
  • Prepare bi-weekly reports and recommend cost-saving improvements.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete general building repairs
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
  • Fleet management or commercial facility maintenance experience is a plus
  • Comfortable performing physical work indoors and outdoors in varying Arizona weather conditions.
  • Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Why Join Our Team?

  • Family-oriented company with a supportive culture
  • Stable, full-time position
  • Opportunity to make a real impact on company operations
  • Variety of work—no two days are the same
  • Leadership role with autonomy and responsibility

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Six Paid Holidays
  • 401(k) with 50% company match
  • PPE provided
  • Annual work boot allowance

If you're a resourceful leader who enjoys working with your hands, is comfortable working indoors and outdoors year-round, solving problems, and taking pride in maintaining company assets, we'd love to hear from you.
