What You Will Do:
We have a great opportunity for an HVAC Service Manager, who will provide strategic leadership for HVAC and facilities maintenance operations, overseeing daily field activities, technician performance, and service delivery to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations. This role leads skilled trades personnel and contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, equipment reliability, and operational excellence through preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and effective resource management
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise HVAC technicians, skilled trades personnel, and contractors responsible for HVAC systems, steam distribution, refrigeration, and building utilities.
- Set team objectives, provide direction, and ensure operational, safety, environmental, and customer service goals are achieved.
- Manage daily service operations, including work scheduling, maintenance planning, repairs, work order prioritization, and performance management.
- Serve as the technical lead for all HVAC-related issues, troubleshooting, and facility infrastructure initiatives.
- Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and support uninterrupted production.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, environmental requirements, and all applicable regulatory inspections.
- Foster a strong safety culture by promoting safe work practices, delivering training, and ensuring all incidents are treated as preventable.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and maintenance best practices across all shifts.
- Monitor maintenance performance, operational trends, and equipment data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage service contracts and vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely project execution.
- Partner with Facilities, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to support capital projects, review HVAC designs, oversee installations, and ensure quality workmanship.
- Develop and recommend capital improvement projects to enhance the reliability, longevity, and performance of HVAC infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise and support for HVAC-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in off-shift support and emergency response as required to maintain facility operations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Experience leading or supervising maintenance or skilled trades personnel; experience managing hourly employees preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, refrigeration, steam distribution, and building automation systems.
- Experience managing facility infrastructure and mechanical and electrical building systems.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, and other manufacturing safety standards.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
