About the Role

For nearly 40 years, Uptown Rental Properties has established a legacy of unsurpassed customer service and operational excellence in the management of the finest quality and most diverse housing options throughout Greater Cincinnati. We are currently seeking a positive, personable Leasing Agent to join our team! Leasing Agents are the first impression of Uptown, working with prospective residents, both in-office and in the field, helping them find their new homes. This is a full-time position starting at $17/hour, with eligibility for the awesome benefits listed below.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm, plus some rotating weekend shifts (Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm)—because finding dream homes doesn’t stop on Friday!

What You’ll Do:
  • Show off our properties and seal the deal with prospective residents—fast and friendly!
  • Be the first smile they see, giving top-tier service in person and over the phone
  • Take prospects on tours, answer their questions, and follow up like a pro
  • Team up with our Property Management squad to keep everything running smooth
  • Hop in a company vehicle (or take a stroll) to visit sites across town
  • Keep our fleet in check when needed
What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean record
  • A can-do attitude that lights up a room
  • Killer people skills and a knack for problem-solving
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (nothing fancy, just the basics)
  • Ready to roll with a flexible schedule, including some weekends
  • Bonus points for sales experience—but if you’ve got charisma, we’ll teach you the rest!
The Gig in a Nutshell: You’re the key to getting our amazing apartments and houses leased up quick. You’ll meet folks at properties, show them why Uptown rocks, and guide them through the process with a smile. About 40% of your time is touring properties, 20% is chasing leads from our website and listings, and 20% is keeping your prospect pipeline buzzing. The rest? Handling the unexpected like a champ.
