Leasing Consultant

We are seeking an engaging, energetic Leasing Consultant that will be responsible for general leasing and supporting the Property Managers in all aspects of operations. 

Responsibilities

• Show and lease available apartments.
• Post and monitor ads daily
• Answer the telephone and practice professional leasing techniques.
• Have a good understanding of the market area where the community is located and stay up to date on market conditions.
• Keep accurate records of resident and property activities.
• Process applicants' paperwork including applications, proof of income, credit, and background checks, following company policies and procedures
• Conduct move-in for new residents
• Collect and record rents and deposits.
• Comply with Fair Housing Laws.
• Perform any and all functions as requested by the Community Manager in addition to those outlined.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years prior leasing experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and an insured, operable vehicle.
• 2+ years experience in property management with a strong preference for experience at 150+ unit properties
• Yardi or industry-related software is a strong plus
• Marketing savvy and proficient in MS Word, Excel
