The Leasing Consultant assists current and future residents in all leasing related tasks and acts as the face of the Community. They maintain an upbeat attitude and are responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming living space for all residents. Responsibilities: Maintain occupancy above 95% striving toward 100% with a sales-oriented mindset Assists future residents with finding a perfect apartment to call home Ability to thrive in fast pace environment with sense of urgency Provide a positive and genuine experience to all current and future residents Using strategic consultative selling skills to achieve 100% Community Occupancy Use high level communication skills when dealing with current and future resident Prioritizes tour path and ensures curb appeal is up to par on property – Communicate any feedback to Maintenance team and Community Manager Ensures leases are complete and correct Ability to work with team on Saturdays Expert in using marketing techniques and social media to promote community and its events Strong ability to mediate and assess current and future resident feedback Assists with resident retention activities Scheduling and following up with progress of maintenance work orders and future move ins Requirements A minimum of 1-2 years on-site as a Leasing Consultant is preferred.   Experience in lease up or maintaining high occupancy levels is preferred.  Past success working in high traffic and demand office or property.  Proven background within customer service and outreach marketing Experience with independent project management within leasing is preferred.  Strong leasing sales and closing skills is required.  Proven experience on customer experience and satisfaction with focus on customers first Experience working in a team setting to collaborate in promptly accomplishing projects and goals & supporting other departments.  Willing and focused on learning and growth within career & company OneSite and Knock experience is strongly preferred Competence and confidence with technology like Microsoft Suite and Property Management Software Participate in training to comply with new or existing Fair Housing laws. Present self in a upbeat, neat/clean and professional manner at all times Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the Employee Handbook.
