LEASING CONSULTANT

Location: The Faywell Apartments; Wheaton, IL

Schedule: Full-Time; Weekend availability required

Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $24.50, based on experience

Incentives: Commissions on new leases

Qualifications

• Previous leasing experience required; lease-up experience strongly preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or related field
• Previous apartment leasing or property management experience preferred
• Experience with Yardi or other property management software preferred
• Weekend availability required
• High School diploma or GED required
• Physical requirements: Frequent walking, stairs, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.

Leasing Consultant – New Development Lease-Up!

Help us open the doors to a brand-new community! Banner Property Management is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Leasing Consultant to join our team during the exciting lease-up phase of The Faywell Apartments, a new 334-unit development in Wheaton, IL. This is an opportunity to be part of creating a thriving community from the very beginning while helping prospective residents find and fall in love with their new home.

The ideal candidate has lease-up experience or a strong background in apartment leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service and enjoys building relationships, generating excitement, and delivering an exceptional prospect and resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging property tours and highlight community features, amenities, and neighborhood benefits
• Respond promptly to prospect inquiries, follow up on leads, and convert prospects into residents
• Build relationships with prospective and current residents through exceptional service and personalized communication
• Assist with lease applications, processing paperwork, renewals, and move-in coordination
• Support lease-up marketing efforts, outreach activities, social media initiatives, and community events.
• Support resident retention efforts through communication, engagement, and follow-up
• Assist with daily operations, including lease renewals, resident communication, rent collection, and administrative tasks
• Maintain accurate records and complete leasing documentation in accordance with company policies
• Maintain knowledge of unit availability, pricing, market trends, and competitor activity
