About the Role

Kibo Property Management is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at The Willows of West Hills. In this role, you’ll help prospective residents find their perfect home, provide exceptional support to current tenants, and contribute to the overall success of the community.


Job Summary

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process, managing lease agreements, assisting with marketing efforts, and fostering strong resident relationships. You’ll be the face of the community—helping ensure every interaction reflects the quality and care Kibo is known for.


Duties/Responsibilities

    • Greet, qualify, and assist prospective tenants; schedule and conduct property tours.
    • Coordinate lease applications and ensure compliance with all requirements.
    • Prepare, review, and execute new lease agreements; oversee move-in and move-out processes.
    • Maintain accurate tenant and property records in AppFolio.
    • Process rent payments and respond to resident inquiries with professionalism and care.
    • Support marketing initiatives to promote the community and increase occupancy.
    • Follow all company policies and comply with Fair Housing, state, and federal laws.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support team success.


    Required Skills/Abilities

    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
    • Ability to build positive relationships with residents and prospects.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning property management software.
    • Basic knowledge of property management best practices and compliance requirements.


    Education and Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience; multifamily leasing experience preferred.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Fair Housing Certification (may be completed within the first 30 days—training provided).



    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
    • Must be able to walk all areas of property and climb multiple flights of stairs in all types of weather.
