Why Urban Land Co? We’re not just filling a role, we’re investing in the future of our business. Urban Land Co. is a real estate investment and development company that self-manages communities. While we share close ties with our affiliated partner, Link Real Estate Group, a third-party property management firm, this role is part of Urban’s in-house management team.
Together, Urban and Link are committed to our people. From day one, you'll receive mentorship, regular feedback, and support from a leadership team focused on your continued development.
As a Leasing Manager, you’ll take ownership of leasing performance, lead the leasing experience, and help drive occupancy and resident retention. You’ll serve as a leader and resource for the leasing team while ensuring prospects and residents receive an exceptional experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Leasing Manager, you will lead leasing efforts, support the onsite team, and help ensure the community meets its occupancy and leasing goals.
Drive Leasing Performance. Take ownership of leasing activity and help achieve occupancy, traffic, conversion, and leasing goals for the community.
Lead the Leasing Team. Coach, train, and support Leasing Consultants to strengthen sales techniques, follow-up, customer service, and overall performance.
Own the Prospect Experience. Build relationships with prospective residents, conduct property tours, understand their needs, overcome objections, and guide them through the application and leasing process.
Manage Leads & Follow-Up. Ensure leads are responded to quickly and consistently while maintaining accurate prospect activity within the property management and lead management systems.
Support Renewal & Retention Efforts. Partner with the Property Manager to execute renewal strategies, communicate with residents, and help maintain strong resident retention.
Monitor Leasing Results. Track leasing activity, conversion rates, occupancy, renewals, and other key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Keep the Team Accountable. Ensure leasing processes, follow-up expectations, documentation, and company standards are consistently followed.
Know Your Market. Stay informed about competitors, pricing, concessions, availability, and local market trends to help position the community effectively.
Deliver Excellent Resident Service. Build strong relationships with residents and respond to questions or concerns professionally and promptly.
Maintain High Standards. Ensure models, vacant units, leasing areas, amenities, and community spaces are tour-ready and represent the community at its best.
Collaborate with Property Leadership. Work closely with the Property Manager and onsite team to support property operations, resident satisfaction, occupancy, and overall community performance.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Sales-driven and people-first mindset. You know how to connect with people, understand their needs, and turn conversations into results while providing an excellent customer experience.
Leadership and coaching skills. You enjoy helping others improve and can provide direction, feedback, encouragement, and accountability to a leasing team.
Results-oriented. You understand that leasing is more than giving tours. You take ownership of leads, follow-up, conversions, occupancy, and overall leasing performance.
Strong communication skills. You communicate clearly and professionally in person, over the phone, through email, and with both prospects and residents.
Driven and dependable. You’re a self-starter who takes initiative, follows through, and holds yourself accountable for results.
Organized and adaptable. You can manage multiple prospects, deadlines, resident needs, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-savvy and eager to learn. You’re comfortable using property management, CRM, and leasing technology and can quickly learn new systems.
Collaborative and team-focused. You understand that property success requires everyone working together and are willing to step in wherever needed.
