About the Role:

We are seeking a professional, highly motivated Leasing Manager to help drive occupancy, support resident relations, and assist with resident account management. This role is responsible for contacting prospective residents, following up on leads, securing leases, assisting current residents, and supporting delinquency and collections efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing management or property management within the real estate industry.
  • Proficiency in Yardi Systems or similar property management software.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of lease agreements, lease administration, and Fair Housing laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and negotiate lease terms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in real estate development or asset management.
  • Certification such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM).
  • Advanced knowledge of legal documents related to real estate leasing.
  • Experience working with diverse tenant populations and multi-site property portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective residents by phone, email, and other approved communication methods.
  • Follow up with leads and convert prospects into signed leases.
  • Explain available units, pricing, lease terms, application requirements, and community features.
  • Schedule tours, assist with applications, and guide prospects through the leasing process.
  • Maintain accurate notes and follow-up activity in the CRM/property management system.
  • Serve as a point of contact for current residents regarding general questions, lease matters, and community policies.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will have strong sales, communication, and follow-up skills, with the ability to convert prospective residents into leases while providing excellent service to current residents. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage leasing activity, resident communication, and delinquency follow-up in a professional and timely manner. The candidate should be comfortable making outbound calls, documenting all resident interactions, and using property management and CRM software. Bilingual English/Spanish is a must.
