The Amberleigh, a premier retirement community in Williamsville, NY provides quality care to residents in an INDEPENDENT LIVING, ASSISTED LIVING, MEMORY CARE community.  

Compensation: $75,000 depending on experience  

Schedule/Shift: Full time, Monday - Friday

Maintenance Director Responsibilities include:

  • Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
  • Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
  • Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
  • Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
  • Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
  • Other job duties as assigned
  • Oversee all maintenance staff
  • Must be available for emergencies/on call

Qualifications:

  • Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required. 
  • Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.
