Maintenance Manager

Do you have supervisory experience and a strong background in facility maintenance? Do you enjoy leading teams, solving problems, and ensuring everything operates safely and efficiently? If so, we want you to join our team as a Maintenance Manager!

In this essential leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance and grounds operations for our entire property, ensuring our facilities, equipment, and outdoor spaces remain safe, functional, and guest-ready. You'll lead a dedicated team, coordinate preventative maintenance programs, and help create an exceptional experience for every guest and team member at Tioga Downs Casino Resort.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise the maintenance and grounds teams across the entire property.
  • Plan, assign, and oversee preventative maintenance and repair projects for facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure all buildings, parking lots, backstretch areas, and green spaces are clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize repairs, and ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Order supplies, materials, and equipment needed for maintenance projects.
  • Supervise the maintenance and repair of landscaping equipment, hardscape, and outdoor property features.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, fire and safety codes, and company safety policies.
  • Assist with the supervision of Environmental Services (EVS) staff as needed.
  • Interview, hire, train, coach, and evaluate maintenance team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns, resolve operational issues, and support continuous improvement.
  • Operate company vehicles as needed.
  • Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external guests while supporting our culture of fun, entertainment, and hospitality.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency with standard business software.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid ability to safely operate company vehicles.
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and use hands to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely navigate maintenance areas, equipment, and uneven terrain.
  • Visual abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and color vision as needed to perform job duties.
