About the Role

Maintenance Manager Job Summary

We are a highly creative and adaptable company who is seeking an organized and responsible maintenance manager to manage all aspects of our maintenance division. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of all restaurant mechanical electrical and refrigeration systems and have excellent leadership and supervisory skills. You will direct and oversee all daily maintenance activities including delegation of tasks, tracking mechanical performance, and directing the processes of any necessary repairs.

Maintenance Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Oversee, manage and direct all maintenance procedures and operations

· Ensure all machinery is up to working standards

· Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency

· Manage proactively

· Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems

· Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc)

· Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts

· Oversee repairs as needed

· Create a work environment with safety as a high priority

· Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work

· Record and track daily progress/error reports

· Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed

· Create and adhere to maintenance budgets

· Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol

· Track all equipment repairs by model and serial numbers in order to evaluate repair/replacement options

· Project travel one week in advance

· Manage the FB Society facilities e-mail address and file completed jobs on a daily basis

· Maintain and publish the Capital List by location monthly

· Bid new vendors as needed and prepare contracts for management approval

· Complete new opening training and equipment manuals and train keyholders in using and maintaining the equipment.

· Manage the companies Corrigo maintenance platform.

 

Maintenance Manager Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or related field preferred

· 5+ years relevant experience in restaurant maintenance

· Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical, electrical, and FSE systems

· Previous managerial experience highly preferred

· Experience managing multiple vendors

· Ability to consistently maintain positive client relationships

· Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities

· Makes safety a priority at all times

· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) and a solid understanding of data analysis software
