Overview

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and process improvement of mechanical equipment to include; PLC’s robots and other computer-controlled equipment used to support production operations. This position will help support general facilities maintenance, while overseeing the Maintenance Technicians on each shift.

Responsibilities

Managing the upkeep and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
Plan and coordinate repairs should malfunctions occur.
Observe and monitor the optimal deployment of labor, material and time.
Plan and coordinate the preventative maintenance of all equipment.
Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments.
Supervise all maintenance technicians and external contractors.
Evaluate employee through performance review, ongoing coaching and feedback methods.
Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of the Horicon Facility.

Qualifications

Good knowledge of safety standards and machine guarding.
Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position.
Working experience with PM programs, scheduling and maintaining sub-contractors as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Good analytical/critical thinking.
3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing management or facility management.
Bachelor degree in business preferred but not required.
