M2SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for leading, planning, and executing cost-effective and timely maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of all equipment and processes within the Processing, Maintenance, and Refrigeration departments. The role includes directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance supervisors and team members, as well as collaborating with contractors, vendors, and engineering teams on equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
This individual will troubleshoot and resolve complex and evolving technical issues while also managing and maintaining highly automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the maintenance training program, assisting with budget preparation and management, coordinating team member schedules, and ensuring all necessary parts and assets are available and properly maintained. The role also supports leadership by providing insights for decision-making and may take on additional duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: 5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in standard computer applications
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and effectively lead teams
- Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, and automated systems; experience with maintenance training programs preferred
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrates sound judgment, decision-making ability, organization, and the ability to delegate and manage responsibility effectively
- Supervisory Responsibility: Oversees a team of maintenance supervisors and/or personnel performing related operational tasks
- Travel: Occasional travel (1–5 trips per year)
