We’re looking for a full-time, dedicated and enthusiastic Multi-Site Property Manager to manage a portfolio of brown-stone and mid-century buildings across the Twin Cities. This is a great position for individuals that like variety, care about the details and want to work somewhere that treats you like the expert that you are.


What would my responsibilities include?

  1. Oversee the marketing and leasing of the properties
  2. Coordinate the move-in/move-out process
  3. Work with vendors and the internal maintenance team for timely completion of unit turns, maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance
  4. Collect & deposit rents and follow up on delinquency
  5. Organize and facilitate resident events
  6. Facilitate all day-to-day operations of the properties as required
  7. Recruitment, selection and performance development of Caretaking staff
  8. Manage overall cleanliness of the property and daily routine of Caretaking staff
  9. Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional rapport with all residents, applicants, vendors and staff
  10. Take a hands-on approach to any necessary duties to accomplish objectives as well as to facilitate the successful performance of others
  11. Communicate with residents regarding repairs in a caring, compassionate manner that upholds Hornig Companies’ customer service reputation as well as Fair Housing guidelines

What should I bring to the team?

  1. 2-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in a multi-site or multi-housing environment
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, owners, vendors and team members
  4. Experience in managing property finances, including reporting and cost control
  5. An eye for market trends and the strategy to act on them
  6. A proactive, solutions-first mindset
  7. Comfort in working independently and as part of a team
  8. AppFolio Plus experience is preferred
  9. Able to lift 20 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds regularly
  10. Able to bend and reach regularly
  11. Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements
