Management Services Corporation (MSC) is a leading property management firm with properties throughout Virginia, and one of The Caton Companies. We are seeking a Property Manager/Portfolio Manager (multi-site manager) for our Charlottesville, Virginia, main office. We manage over 50 properties around the UVA Grounds, and we're looking for a seasoned and experienced Portfolio Manager to rise to the occasion and join our incredible team of managers who make it happen every day! Summary/Objective
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of the management of MSC Apartments to ensure that income is maximized, expenses minimized and value preserved and increased. The Portfolio Manager is to serve as a resource for the Senior Regional Property Manager. To provide professional, ethical management and give quality service to all residents. To standardize policies and procedures which relate to the management departments.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend and after hours work when necessary, and a year long on-call rotation with other managers.
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Knowledge of apartment property management normally acquired by two years of experience
Preferred Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree plus five years’ experience in property management
