Join our team as a Property Manager at the Harbor at State and Main!

Are you an experienced affordable housing professional who is passionate about creating a welcoming community and supporting residents? Join our team at the Harbor at State and Main! In this role, you'll lead day-to-day property operations, and help create a stable, supportive environment where residents can thrive.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the daily operations of the affordable housing community, ensuring strong occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.

  • Lead and support the onsite team

  • Oversee leasing, resident relations, rent collection, budgeting, financial reporting, and overall property performance.

  • Manage affordable housing compliance and resident certifications across LIHTC, and other applicable programs, partnering closely with the Compliance team.

  • Build strong relationships with residents and collaborate with onsite Resident Services to support housing stability and provide trauma-informed, resident-centered service.

  • Oversee property maintenance, unit turns, inspections, vendor relationships, and the overall appearance, safety, and condition of the community.

  • Address resident concerns and operational challenges with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of property management experience in an affordable housing environment.

  • Previous experience working with LIHTC

  • Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to trauma-informed, resident-centered service delivery.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Previous supervisory experience and the ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and property operations.
