We are currently seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced environment and charged with developing and leading a strong innovative maintenance team. You will also support West Region terminals regarding their maintenance operations. This role reports to the Group Vice President, Intermodal Operations.
Regional Maintenance Manager
- Support the maintenance strategies through people, systems, and process while challenging the status quo.
- Assists in implementing maintenance policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Assists in the startups and shutdowns of contracts as it relates to maintenance by conducting site visits, inspecting vehicles, ensuring tools and equipment are on-site, removed, etc.
- Supports chassis and maintenance employees at the terminals with operations and employee support.
- Assists in in third party inspections audits and manage post-inspection repairs
- Manages terminal audit compliance through iAuditor
- Point of contact for the host railroad for maintenance items
- Enforces and upholds all ConGlobal rules, regulations & policies
- Conducts Safety & Terminal Observations and/or Audits
- Tracks records, licenses, inspections, warranties, and service agreements
- Coordinates preventative maintenance programs, achieves goals with 100% compliance
- Provides metrics & reports as needed
- Other duties as assigned (administrative & non-administrative)
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in maintenance Management for a national multi-location company
- 3-5 years supervisory experience
- Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to travel
- Excellent communication skills are mandatory
- Strong Project Management skills
- Easily accessible and available for questions and problem resolutions
- Strong team player with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
- Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products
- Willing to travel and conduct inspections of equipment given business needs and expansion
- Must pass a pre-employment background verification and drug screening
- The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
