Job Summary
We are a property management company looking for a roving maintenance technician. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has prior maintenance experience, with a working knowledge of all types of heating and cooling systems. They must also have experience in all aspects of property management including plumbing, electrical, carpenrty, drywal repair, appliance repair and general maintenance. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diverse HVAC equipment including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners and ductwork
- Install new equipment and replace aging systems efficiently
- Respond to emergency calls in the on call rotation
- Document all work and keep track of inventory
- Coordinate with proprty manager and tenants
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience
- EPA Universal Certificate
- Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
- Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Reliable vehicle (milage paid at IRS max)
- Have own tools
- Pass a background test
