Join Our Team as an Assistant Property Manager!

Are you a motivated leader with a passion for building thriving communities? Richman Property Services, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, full-time Assistant Property Manager who takes initiative, drives results, and genuinely cares about the residents they serve.


Position: Assistant Property Manager

Location: You will be primarily based at our Grande Oaks Apartments in Tampa, FL 33610, with 50% of your time supporting our sister community, Brandywine Apartments, also in Tampa, FL 33610. Travel between both properties is required.


Key Qualifications:

  • Tax Credit/Affordable Housing (LIHTC) experience preferred
  • Yardi software proficiency
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the Property Manager to drive community performance and achieve strategic goals
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, Fair Housing laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Build strong resident relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and care
  • Manage work orders and maintenance requests efficiently through Yardi software
  • Coordinate lease renewals, rental increases, and unit inspections with precision
  • Oversee seamless move-in and move-out processes that leave a lasting positive impression
  • Champion leasing efforts and resident retention initiatives
  • Maintain accurate, detail-oriented records and documentation


What You'll Bring:

  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience: 2+ years in an Assistant Property Manager or Leasing role within the apartment industry; LIHTC and Yardi experience strongly preferred
  • Skills & Certifications:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
    • Valid Driver's License required
