As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll partner with the Property Manager to help lead the daily operations of one of our multifamily communities. You'll be involved in everything from leasing and resident relations to financial reporting, maintenance coordination, and team leadership. What You'll Be Doing:
Leadership in Action – Partner with the Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of the community, helping ensure every department runs smoothly and efficiently.
Resident Experience Champion – Build lasting relationships with current and future residents by providing exceptional service, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming community.
Leasing Partner – Support leasing efforts by helping drive occupancy, maintaining competitive pricing, following up on prospects, and assisting with renewals.
Operations Expert – Assist with budgets, financial reporting, rent collection, delinquency management, and administrative functions that keep the business running.
Maintenance Liaison – Partner closely with the maintenance team to prioritize work orders, oversee apartment readiness, and ensure the community maintains exceptional curb appeal.
Team Support – Help coach, motivate, and support the leasing and maintenance teams while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Problem Solver – Tackle resident concerns, operational challenges, and day-to-day issues with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-focused mindset.

What We're Looking For:
Emerging Leader – At least 2 years of multifamily property management experience and 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience.
Affordable Housing Experience – Experience with Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) programs, including eligibility, certifications, recertifications, and compliance paperwork, is highly preferred.
Resident-Focused – You genuinely enjoy helping people and creating an outstanding customer experience.
Financially Minded – Comfortable with budgets, rent collection, reporting, and the financial side of property operations.
Sales-Oriented – You understand leasing fundamentals, enjoy helping close leases, and know how to build resident loyalty through renewals.

Strong Communicator – Whether you're working with residents, vendors, or your team, you communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally.
Tech Comfortable – Experience with property management software (such as Entrata), Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools.

QualificationsRequired Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience
Must have obtained or is in the pursuit of an associate or undergraduate degree(s) and/or have equivalent work experience working in large multifamily real estate properties required
A minimum of 2 years of residential property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales plus a minimum of 1 year of experience supervising two or more employees is required
Proficient computer skills, including using Microsoft Office products in an office environment
Familiarity with general business and accounting concepts and practices; ability to read, understand, and develop financial statements; high-school graduate-level mathematical proficiency required
Valid driver’s license to operate company-owned vehicles or to utilize own vehicle for work
Physical Requirements
Expected work hours:
Must work on the busiest days of the week, including Fridays and Saturdays weekly (and at least one Sunday a month) and on Holidays, during peak business hours, including at least one closing shift weekly
During high-traffic holiday periods, the position is scheduled according to Company standards; the supervisor must approve schedules
Travel: Occasionally, may need to drive a company or personal vehicle for business
Work environment and physical demands:
General office environment, ability to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds
Ability to move about the property to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, including sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs to perform functions in various weather conditions and variable climates
