Leasing Consultant | Luxury Multifamily
The Mill at Westside is looking for an experienced and sales-driven leasing consultant to join our onsite team. We are seeking someone who understands the expectations of a luxury apartment community and knows how to create an exceptional experience from the initial inquiry through move-in and beyond.
This is not an entry-level leasing position. The ideal candidate will have previous multifamily leasing experience, including experience working at a Class A or luxury apartment community, along with hands-on knowledge of RealPage/OneSite.
The leasing consultant will play an important role in maintaining occupancy, driving leasing activity, providing excellent customer service, and representing the community professionally to prospective and current residents.
Key responsibilities include:
-
Respond to phone, email, internet, and walk-in leads promptly and professionally
-
Conduct engaging property and apartment tours tailored to each prospect's needs
-
Build rapport with prospects and confidently ask for the lease
-
Maintain consistent prospect follow-up and manage the leasing pipeline
-
Accurately complete applications, leasing documentation, and move-in paperwork
-
Maintain accurate prospect and resident information within RealPage/OneSite
-
Stay knowledgeable about current availability, pricing, specials, floor plans, and community amenities
-
Understand the competitive market and effectively communicate the value of the community
-
Assist with resident relations, renewals, resident events, and retention efforts
-
Help maintain the appearance and presentation of the leasing office, model apartments, amenities, and tour path
-
Complete daily outreach, follow-up, and leasing activity goals
-
Follow all Fair Housing laws, company policies, and leasing procedures
-
Work closely with the property manager, assistant manager, maintenance team, and other onsite team members to provide a seamless resident experience
Qualifications:
-
Previous apartment leasing experience is required
-
Previous Class A or luxury multifamily experience is strongly preferred
-
RealPage/OneSite experience is required
-
Proven ability to generate leases and meet or exceed leasing goals
-
Strong sales, closing, and follow-up skills
-
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
-
Professional appearance and communication style
-
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
-
Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations
-
Comfortable using property management software, CRM systems, email, and Microsoft Office
-
Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule based on property needs
Our ideal candidate:
You are confident without being pushy, personable without losing professionalism, and understand that luxury leasing is about more than showing an apartment. You know how to uncover what a prospect is looking for, connect those needs to the community, consistently follow up, and close the sale.
You also understand that every interaction contributes to the resident experience and the reputation of the property. You take ownership of your leads, maintain accurate records, communicate well with your team, and are motivated by leasing goals and strong property performance.
If you have a successful track record in luxury multifamily leasing and are experienced with RealPage/OneSite, we would love to hear from you.
