Job DetailsJob Location: Electroswitch Switches and Relays - Weymouth, MA 02188Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 Salary/yearTravel Percentage: Moderate Travel (25-50%)Job Category: FacilitiesThe Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing facility operations, maintenance, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), and regulatory compliance across multiple company locations. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations while supporting manufacturing, machine shop, warehouse, office, and distribution activities. The position manages vendor relationships, capital projects, preventative maintenance programs, and company-wide safety initiatives. Essential Functions / Responsibilities: Facilities & Operations Management Manage day-to-day facility operations across multiple sites, including manufacturing, Machine Shop, Warehouse, and Office environments. Oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, fire protection, security, and utilities. Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency for production, machine shop and facilities Coordinate repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers Ensure facilities meet operational, environmental, and safety standards. Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Lead company EH&S programs and promote a strong safety culture across all locations. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs. Conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Maintain required EH&S documentation, permits, and reporting. Lead corrective and preventive actions related to workplace safety incidents. Coordinate emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and safety drills. Manage hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal programs where applicable. Multi-Site Leadership Standardize facility and safety processes across multiple locations. Travel between sites to support operations, audits, projects, and employee engagement. Partner with site leadership teams to identify operational and safety improvements. Monitor facility budgets, maintenance costs, and EH&S metrics across locations. Support expansion projects, equipment moves, and new site/product integrations. Vendor & Project Management Source and manage external contractors and facility vendors. Negotiate service agreements and monitor vendor performance. Oversee facility-related capital expenditures and improvement projects. Ensure all contractors follow company safety requirements and site procedures.     QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Experiences: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Management, or related field preferred. 5–10+ years of facilities and EH&S management experience, preferably in manufacturing or machine shop environments. Experience managing multiple facilities. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local building regulations. Experience with preventative maintenance systems. Proven leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred Certifications OSHA 30 Certification Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certified Facility Manager (CFM) LEED or environmental compliance certifications a plus Training and Requirements: General Safety; Quality System Awareness; Hazardous Waste Management & Spill Prevention; Respiratory Training; Certified Forklift Operator; Certified Forklift Trainer unless otherwise noted. Physical Requirements: Required to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs. Work Environment: Combination of Manufacturing and Office environment. Regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold and odors.
