This role translates organizational strategy into clear, actionable execution plans while overseeing the Facilities Operations Supervisor and Equipment Operations Supervisor to drive alignment, efficiency, and continuous improvement.</p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Leadership & Team Development</strong><br><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop Facilities and Equipment Operations Supervisors</li><li>Establish clear priorities, accountability, and performance expectations</li><li>Drive cross-functional collaboration between facilities, operations, and leadership</li><li>Foster a culture of safety, ownership, responsiveness, and continuous improvement</li></ul></li><li><strong>Strategic Planning & Asset Management</strong><br><ul><li>Develop and execute long-term facility and equipment strategies aligned with company growth</li><li>Translate organizational goals into actionable plans and roadmaps</li><li>Oversee lifecycle management of facilities, infrastructure, and production equipment</li><li>Standardize asset management practices, systems (CMMS), and performance metrics</li></ul></li><li><strong>Operations & Maintenance Oversight</strong><br><ul><li>Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs</li><li>Ensure reliability and performance of facility infrastructure and production equipment</li><li>Establish consistent processes, KPIs, and work management practices</li><li>Monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul></li><li><strong>Financial & Vendor Management</strong><br><ul><li>Manage operating and capital budgets within approved parameters</li><li>Lead budget planning, forecasting, and cost control efforts</li><li>Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities, including energy optimization</li><li>Oversee vendor selection, performance, and contract management</li><li>Ensure vendors meet safety, quality, and service expectations</li></ul></li><li><strong>Safety, Compliance & Risk Management</strong><br><ul><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulatory requirements</li><li>Oversee safety programs, audits, and corrective actions</li><li>Support emergency preparedness, business continuity, and incident response</li><li>Promote safe work practices and accountability across all operations</li></ul></li><li><strong>Facilities Expansion & Capital Projects</strong><br><ul><li>Lead facility expansion, site selection, and real estate evaluations</li><li>Assess properties for operational fit, infrastructure capability, and scalability</li><li>Oversee facility build-outs, renovations, and major equipment installations</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget</li><li>Maintain alignment with brand standards, customer experience, and executive vision</li><li>Manage relationships with architects, contractors, brokers, and external partners</li></ul></li><li><strong>Continuous Improvement & Performance</strong><br><ul><li>Drive Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Standardize SOPs, work instructions, and 6S practices</li><li>Leverage data and systems to improve performance and decision-making</li><li>Optimize utility usage and identify energy efficiency opportunities</li><li>Collaborate with municipalities and regulatory bodies on compliance and infrastructure</li></ul></li><li><strong>Reporting & Communication</strong><br><ul><li>Provide regular updates on performance, risks, and capital needs</li><li>Support strategic reporting and presentations for leadership</li><li>Ensure alignment and communication across departments and stakeholders</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Summary of Skills, Knowledge and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Associate degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.</li><li>5–10 years of facilities, maintenance, or operations leadership.</li><li>Strong financial, technical, and project‑management skills.</li><li>Experience with CMMS, maintenance programs, and facility systems.</li><li>Knowledge of Lean/TPM and continuous improvement.</li><li>Strong communication and cross‑functional leadership abilities.</li><li>Ability to support off‑hours emergencies and travel as needed.</li><li>Physically able to navigate facility environments, including bending, kneeling, climbing ladders and stairs, accessing roofs, lifting, and performing other physical tasks as required. </li></ul><p><strong>Direct Reports</strong></p><ul><li>Facilities Operations Supervisor</li><li>Equipment Operations Supervisor </li></ul>
