We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team! This person will report to the Assistant General Manager.
Essential Functions
- Interviews and selects qualified candidates for the facilities team at Happy Valley Casino.
- Monitors and evaluates performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures.
- Ensures that all facilities personnel are properly trained & qualified to maintain a high level of proficiency in designated hired roles.
- Responsible for supervising and maintaining general maintenance of private and public areas of Happy Valley Casino.
- Responsible for supervising and maintaining all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanics, and welders for Happy Valley Casino.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance within the Facilities Department of all Happy Valley Casino policies & procedures
- Develops, implements, and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for the Facilities Department
- Prepares and maintains a minimum staffing plan for the Facilities Department to ensure continuous casino operations
- Assists in development and maintains facilities budget and capital expenditures including, but not limited to, expenditures, capital requests, labor and variance reporting in accordance with department and property objectives.
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with local & state contractors.
- Establish and maintain effective cross-departmental relationships to ensure Happy Valley Casino remains in full compliance with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Ensures that all facilities operations & maintenance requests are documented, serviced & seen through to completion.
- Must be able to work any shift as needed, as well as be on-call for emergency repairs.
Job Requirements
· Highschool Diploma or equivalent
· Valid PA Drivers License
· Must be able to be approved and maintain licensure by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board gaming.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
· Able to perform repetitive motion tasks.
· Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
Five (5) years of prior experience in building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance. Three (3) years of supervisor experience required. Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gambling Program. Must have a thorough knowledge of applicable Federal and State Law, as well as Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Regulations. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; additional certifications plumbing, electrical and HVAC services is a plus. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
