Facilities Manager - Industrial 835

Location:  High Point, NC   / Salary: $65,000 to $72,000 including Bonus and Excellent Benefits

Facilities Manager Responsibilities:

• Assign janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspect their work to ensure that established standards are met.
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.
• Take inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and inform management when supplies are depleted.
• Provide training and guidance to janitorial staff
• Review and approve department employees’ timecards, vacation requests, holiday requests, and attendance and performance records within the department.
• Maintain good quality standards in a safe and clean work environment.
• Partner with other departments to accomplish company goals.
• Know all department positions, all products and assist team as needed.
• Ensure adherence to the Terminally Clean schedules
• Other duties as assigned

Facilities Manager Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of Supervisor/Team Leader experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem solving, technical writing, communication & interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning methods for an industrial setting.
• Understand and comply with all safety rules, regulations and procedures.
• Experience with support equipment such as scissor lift and/or forklift.
• Knowledge of LOTO.
• Effectively communicate important information to co-workers and/or supervisors.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl as needed.
• Ability to perform tasks that may involve repetitive motion.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry 75 Pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Must have reliable transportation.
