Job DetailsJob Location: Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma Headquarters - OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73179Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $67,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: DayJob Summary Do you take pride in keeping complex facilities safe, reliable and ready for the people who depend on them every day? You oversee facility operations, building systems and site readiness for the organization’s headquarters and grounds, ensuring a functional environment that supports mission delivery. You manage maintenance, repairs, contractors, fire and life safety systems, facility projects and budgets while leading staff and maintaining compliance. Success in the first 6–12 months includes a well‑maintained, organized and compliant facility, clear safety and maintenance processes, responsive issue resolution and a supported facility team. Day in the Life Fire Safety System Management Manage the facility’s fire safety system to maintain readiness and reduce risk. Conduct inspections, maintain extinguishers, oversee monitoring systems and coordinate emergency response procedures. Facility Systems Maintenance Monitor and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems to minimize operational disruptions. Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance, construction projects and repairs through contractors. Structure and Mechanical Systems Oversight Inspect and coordinate repairs or updates to structures and mechanical systems. Monitor contractor performance to meet state and federal requirements. Contract and Waste Management Manage waste program contracts, schedules and communication. Coordinate recycling programs and maintain service records. Equipment Utilization and Maintenance Review equipment utilization and maintenance records to identify trends. Recommend equipment purchasing and retirement decisions. Issue Resolution and On‑Call Support Resolve facility‑related complaints and repair requests from staff and occupants. Provide 24‑hour on‑call coverage for emergencies and urgent facility needs. Budget and Staff Leadership Contribute to budget preparation, manage expenditures and address variances. Set expectations, coach employees and foster a respectful and inclusive service culture. QualificationsRequired Qualifications How You Have Spent Your Time Associate degree in facilities management, building maintenance, construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 10 years of facilities, building maintenance or property operations experience. At least 3 years of experience supervising employees and evaluating performance. Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and preventive maintenance. Experience reading and applying technical manuals, safety requirements and maintenance records. Other Qualifications Proficiency in common office applications and job‑specific systems. Valid driver’s license meeting organizational standards. Ability to adapt to new technologies and complete required screenings. Preferred Qualifications Helpful Additional Experience or Familiarity Experience managing vendor agreements or contractor performance. Experience preparing or monitoring facility or maintenance budgets. Familiarity with OSHA requirements and fire and life safety standards. Experience using maintenance tracking or preventive maintenance software. Relevant certifications such as FMP, CFM, OSHA 10/30, CPR or EPA Section 608. Safety Sensitive Designation This position is classified as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law. Employees in safety sensitive roles perform duties where even a momentary lapse in concentration could result in injury or harm. Physical & Environmental Expectations This role involves substantial physical activity in warehouse and industrial environments, including operating equipment, moving heavy objects and accessing elevated or confined spaces. Work includes frequent exposure to outdoor conditions, temperature extremes, dust, chemicals, noise and vibration, along with participation in an on‑call rotation and occasional travel.
