POSITION DESCRIPTION
MISSION:
It is your personal and professional responsibility to make Hastings College Housing the premier provider of Private Collegiate Student Housing in Nebraska. PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the leasing and Res Life processes within Hasting College Housing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Direct oversight of leasing & residence life, marketing, facilities, customer engagement, and overall team supervision and development.
- Serves as the company liaison to Hastings College and Scott Residential Management leadership teams.
- Provides support and guidance to managers, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Works HR with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations for all departments as needed.
- Ensures the property’s curb appeal reflects the value of service we provide with clean and well-maintained grounds and facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ten years of management experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS
- A minimum of 5 years of leasing or property experience.
- Previous management experience .
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Serve as a representative of Scott Residential Management in all interactions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is conducted in-person in a typical office environment between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tasks involve continuous sitting and constant use of hand/finger dexterity, hearing, and typing. Time may also be spent out on property overseeing and managing daily operations.
