Leasing Agent - Irving, TX

Position Overview

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming experience for current and prospective residents. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background and experience with Yardi (preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents (in-person and by phone)

• Conduct community tours and demonstrate apartment homes using product knowledge and closing techniques

• Process applications and secure deposits in accordance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines

• Record all traffic and maintain accurate guest cards and reports

• Follow up with prospects to close sales and refer to sister communities when appropriate

• Monitor advertising effectiveness and track local market competition

• Process resident service requests and ensure timely follow-up

• Represent the company professionally at all times

• Complete assigned tasks and projects within deadlines

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leasing, sales, or related experience

• Yardi experience preferred

• Leasing 101 certification required within first 3 months

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Strong communication, sales, and closing skills

• Professional phone and in-person etiquette

• Positive, solution-oriented, and resident-focused mindset

• Basic computer proficiency
