THE NEED


Leasing Consultant needed for single family division in the Richmond area. The ideal candidate will have experience completing leasing, and administrative tasks with great attention to detail.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of leasing experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with Yardi management systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA) and Fair Housing Laws.


CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and reliable.
  • Can establish relationships quickly and easily with a diverse group of people.
  • Has a high energy level and great customer service skills.
  • Goal oriented and results focused.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Leasing Consultant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Record and maintain all resident information in Yardi.
  • Collect monies for application fees, security deposits, rent, etc., as per policy and guidelines.
  • Update available marketing tools as needed.
  • Schedule appointments with prospective applicants.
  • Answer phone calls using the phone script guidelines.
  • Notify applicant(s) of approval and schedule the lease package signing.
