About the Position

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and motivated Leasing Specialist - Assistant Property Manager to join our team at one of our beautiful apartment communities.

In this dynamic, hands-on role, you’ll be an important part of the management team, helping prospective residents find their next home, supporting current residents, and keeping daily property operations running smoothly. From showcasing apartments and closing leases to coordinating resident events and assisting with administrative operations, no two days are exactly alike!

What You’ll Do

• Create great first impressions: Welcome prospective residents, answer inquiries, and showcase our community through engaging apartment tours.
• Drive leasing success: Follow up with prospects, build relationships, overcome objections, and guide applicants through the leasing process to close rentals.
• Deliver exceptional resident service: Build positive relationships with residents, respond to questions and concerns, and help create a welcoming community.
• Support daily operations: Assist with lease preparation, administrative tasks, computer systems, lead management, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Assist with rent collection: Support rent collection efforts and help maintain accurate resident account information.
• Coordinate service requests: Communicate resident maintenance needs and help ensure requests are addressed efficiently.
• Bring the community together: Help plan and coordinate resident events and activities that encourage engagement and a strong sense of community.
• Work as a team: Partner with the property management team to maintain an organized, attractive, and well-run apartment community.

The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of their responsibilities.

Qualifications and skills include:

• Previous property management experience is required.
• Leasing, sales, marketing, or customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to manage leads, records, and administrative tasks accurately.
• A professional, resident-focused approach and a genuine interest in building relationships.
• The ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently.
