Cypress Grove Post Acute is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Jackson, Tennessee, offering 170 certified beds. The facility is both Medicare- and Medicaid-certified, providing services such as long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and specialized support, including dietary planning and therapy.

Position Overview:
The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance and safety of the facility. This role ensures that the building, equipment, and systems are properly maintained to provide a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The Maintenance Director will manage daily operations, coordinate repairs, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility
  • Ensure building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are functioning properly
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and life codes
  • Manage and maintain facility equipment and tools
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed
  • Ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Maintain maintenance logs, records, and reports
  • Support infection control and safety protocols within the facility

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of maintenance experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting required
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in a healthcare or post-acute setting
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards (OSHA, Life Safety Code)
