About the Role
Maywood Supportive Living is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Director to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the overall maintenance and repair of our community, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for both residents and staff.
You’ll partner closely with the operations team to address maintenance needs efficiently and proactively. This position plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations and long-term success of our community.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, or supportive living environments
- Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Budget management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of maintenance operations, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and service requests
- Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and schedules
- Lead, train, and support maintenance and housekeeping team members
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
