Maintenance Manager

At Cragun’s Resort, we don’t just maintain a property—we take care of a destination where families return year after year to make memories on Gull Lake! We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager who takes pride in their work, leads from the front, and understands that every detail—from a guest room to a marina dock—shapes the guest experience.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team to ensure all resort facilities, buildings, and equipment are maintained to the highest standard. 

• Lead day-to-day maintenance operations across the resort
• Supervise and support the maintenance team, including the Resort Mechanic
• Ensure facilities, lodging, and amenities are always guest-ready
• Drive preventative maintenance to protect and improve the property
• Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance needs across department
• Manage current vendor relationships and schedule visits when necessary
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds to identify needs, issues, and safety concerns
• Understand and execute duties within the parameters of the budget, inventory, and ensure cost control when it comes to labor, supplies, and repair

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of maintenance or facilities experience (in resort or hospitality is a plus)
• Proven ability to lead a team and hold high standards
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general systems
• A hands-on mindset - you're comfortable solving problems as you are leading others
• Ability to obtain a Boilers License, Rural Water Certification and Certified Pool Operator
• Valid Driver's License and ability to operate utility vehicles and equipment as needed

• $60,000-70,000 depending on experience
