Assistant Community Manager – Two Communities (South San Diego & El Cajon)
Full-time · On-site at two communities (201 units total) · Weekends as needed
Pay: $21–$23+ per hour + monthly mileage and cell phone reimbursement + Apartment or Rent Discount
We're looking for an Assistant Community Manager who's ready for more than leasing: someone who wants to help run two communities and grow into a Community Manager role. You'll split your time between a 164-unit community near I-5 and Palm Ave in South San Diego and Canyon Run, a 37-unit community in El Cajon, working closely with the Community Manager and San Diego based Regional Manager.

What you'll do
- Lease: answer calls, emails and walk-ins; give tours; follow up and close; keep CRM records current.
- Handle the money: collect and post rent and fees, make deposits, process invoices, and follow up on past-due balances.
- Enforce the lease: serve notices and support evictions, including court appearances when needed.
- Move residents in and out: applications, screening, lease files, and move-out deposit dispositions.
- Take care of residents: log service requests and resolve concerns quickly.
- Market the communities: social media posts, market surveys, outreach and resident events.
- Step in as manager when the Community Manager is out.
What you bring
- 2+ years of multifamily leasing or assistant manager experience.
- Comfort with numbers, Yardi (or similar) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to juggle two properties.
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record and auto insurance.
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends if necessary.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Yardi, Rent Café, CRM, EliseAI experience is helpful.
