Mission Implementation:
The Property Manager Position advances the mission of the agency by fostering positive and safe homes for people served and work environment, to assist ASI-CT in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum, possession of a high school diploma or GED;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience performing repairs and general maintenance work including minor electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and painting.
- Must pass a criminal background check;
- Must be of good moral character as evidenced by three (3) positive references;
- Good physical health to include a negative TB test;
- Possession of a current, valid Connecticut driver's license that is in good standing;
- Knowledge of property maintenance, building supplies;
- Organizational skills;
- Meet the state's good moral character as evidenced by having a clean criminal background record, passing the Abuse and Neglect Registry and Sex offender Registry checks.
- Position may periodically require longer hours than standard 40-hour work week.
Essential Job Functions :

- To implement and adhere to all policies, procedures and/or legal and program commitments as required by Alternative Services Connecticut.
- Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines and best practice standards.
- Must always be able to abide by the State of Connecticut driving rules and safely drive the company vehicle.
- Must be able to work independently and without supervision.
- Must have the ability to lift, stoop, and bend as needed and be able to lift 75lbs.
- Must drive company van, adhere to driving rules and be free of moving violations.
Delegated Responsibilities:
The above responsibilities may not be all inclusive of activities required by the Property Maintenance Manager to meet specific needs of the Agency. Therefore, the Executive Director is authorized to delegate additional duties to the Property Maintenance Manager from time to time. If the delegated responsibility is a permanent duty, it shall be in writing, signed and attached as an addendum to the job description of the Property Maintenance Manager.
Evaluation:
The performance of the Property Maintenance Manager will be evaluated by the Executive Director at the end of three months and six (6) months of employment and annually thereafter.
Shifts as Follows: Friday 8 am - 4 pm Saturday OFF Sunday OFF Monday 8 am - 4 pm Tuesday 8 am - 4 pm Wednesday 8 am - 4 pm Thursday 8 am - 4 pm
