Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee Wall Street Apartments and Wesley Park Apartments in Janesville, Wisconsin. Duties and Responsibilities
- Promptly and professionally respond to resident and employee inquiries
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, ownership, and vendors
- Supervise, coach, and train property staff
- Prepare and monitor operating budgets, capital budgets, and capital expenditures
- Prepare monthly reports, lease summaries, abstracts, and gather supporting data
- Ensure proper coding of invoices and approve payments
- Review leases for accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate collection procedures for delinquent accounts
- Manage resident improvements, move-ins, and move-outs
- Meet and maintain occupancy goals
- Market the properties in accordance with Fair Housing guidelines and the Resident Selection Plan
- Oversee all property inspections, including Investor, HUD, and State Agency reviews
- Respond to after-hours emergencies when appropriate (maintenance staff handle most calls)
- Process move-ins and recertifications, including income and asset verification

- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience in residential property management or a related field
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with property management software, including MRI, preferred
- Physically able to perform regular property inspections, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Valid driver's license required
