Our client is looking for a Property Manager to oversee all operations in a 200 unit community in suburban Pittsburgh. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all operations at the community including: accounts receivable, resident relations, leasing and maintenance
  • Manage payroll process and control overtime
  • Interview and train new team members
  • Mentor team members for future growth opportunities
  • Review, complete and submit weekly reports
  • Weekly property inspections
  • Approve purchase orders
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures as necessary
  • Review and approve resident applications
  • Ensure all marketing and follow-ups are completed as required
  • Oversee and assist with delinquency and eviction process as needed
  • Ensure all move-ins, move-outs, NTV's, new applications, canceled/denied applications and service requests are updated in Yardi daily
  • Monitor the wait list
  • Review financials for accuracy and complete the monthly variance report and executive summary
  • Special Projects as assigned

 

Skills & Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience managing apartments
  • Proven track record of success
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Ability to lead by example and delegate
  • Attention to detail and "can do" attitude
  • Team player mindset and strong sense of urgency
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Yardi experience is a plus
  • Industry designations are a plus (ie. CPM, ARM, CAM)
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
